Bills' Trent Murphy: Limited Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Murphy (knee) practiced on a limited basis Monday, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.

Murphy hadn't practiced since getting hurt in Week 7, so this is a step in the right direction even though the Bills won't have their first official Week 12 practice until Wednesday. Shaq Lawson has played great in Murphy's stead, so the latter could be looking at a reduced snap count even if he does return for this week's game against the Jaguars.

Bills' Taron Johnson: Wearing non-contact jersey
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson (shoulder) was seen sporting a non-contact jersey at practice Tuesday, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

Johnson appeared to aggravate his shoulder in Week 10 against the Jets and it seems he is still nursing the injury. The rookie has seen his snap count take a hit due to the lingering injury, and has no guarantees of suiting up Sunday. If Johnson is unable to play Sunday, Lafayette Pitts could see more snaps in his absence.

Bills' Charles Clay: Misses another practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Clay (hamstring) didn't participate in Tuesday's practice, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

Following their Week 11 bye, the Bills held practices Monday and Tuesday, but the team won't have to provide their first Week 12 injury report until Wednesday. With Clay still not resuming on-field work, it's expected that he'll officially go down as a non-participant Wednesday, casting early skepticism on his chances of playing Sunday against the Jaguars. If Clay misses a second straight game, Jason Croom and Logan Thomas would likely split work at tight end.

Bills' Derek Anderson: Dons helmet for practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Anderson (concussion) was spotted with a helmet at Tuesday's practice, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports. The quarterback still remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, however, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

While Anderson still needs to receive clearance from an independent neurologist before being removed from the protocol, his presence on the field Tuesday at least suggests he's progressed to the point of participating in light football activity. Anderson previously hadn't been wearing his helmet at any of the Bills' practices since suffering the head injury Oct. 29 against the Patriots. It appears the veteran signal-caller will have a realistic shot at clearing the protocol prior to Sunday's game against the Jaguars, but he may have dropped from second to third in the pecking order at quarterback behind Matt Barkley, who shined in the Bills' Week 10 win over the Jets while both Anderson and No. 1 option Josh Allen (elbow) were sidelined.

Bills' Matt Milano: Remains in concussion protocol
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Milano remains in the concussion protocol but will practice Monday on a limited basis, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Milano is further along than teammate Derek Anderson even though Milano was injured one game later (Week 10 vs. the Jets). Given that he's already three steps through the protocol and working through No. 4 by partially practicing Monday, Milano looks like a decent bet to suit up Sunday against the Jaguars.
